Botox, facial rejuvenation, and cosmetic surgery

Dr. Jeanniton specializes in all areas of eye rejuvenation and periorbital surgery. The most definitive and satisfying way to make eyes more youthful, beautiful, and energetic is eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty. Dr. Jeanniton's approach aims to restore your eyes to a more youthful state, without changing your overall face. She systematically addresses sagging eyelids, bulges of "bags" or fatty tissue, hollowness around the eyes, dark circles, and loose crepe-y skin, and tailors this approach to her patients, individually.

To correct the upper eyelids, Dr. Jeanniton hides fine incisions in the crease above each eye, so that after surgery, the scar is almost imperceptible and camouflaged in the normal eye fold. To correct bags and puffiness of the lower eyelids, Dr. Jeanniton places incisions inside the eyelid, so there are absolutely no visible scars. If loose skin under the eyes is part of the problem, Dr. Jeanniton addresses this by hiding her incisions in the natural crease of the eyelashes, so her patients have barely any evidence of surgery after they heal.

In addition to eye lift surgery (blepharoplasty), Dr. Jeanniton performs all aspects of functional eyelid surgery, including ptosis repair (for those with droopy upper eyelids), and entropion or ectropion repair (for those with in-turning or out-turning of the eyelid).  Dr. Jeanniton’s extensive experience around the eyelids allows her to apply advanced surgical  techniques to solving these problems. The recovery after surgery is quick and the eyes feel better and look better.

In people with hollows underneath their eyes that make them look tired, Dr. Jeanniton performs correction of deep tear troughs with fillers or blepharoplasty with fat transposition.

Botox treatment will smooth out the muscles of the face. This technique is especially powerful for erasing forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, and furrows between the eyes -- all of which can make a person look upset or angry even when he or she is not.

Fillers, including Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra, and Belotero, among others, are FDA approved biomaterials that add subtle volume to the face. They can be used to fill in deep wrinkles or creases, such as the ones that appear in the nasolabial folds (the lines around the mouth) and marionette lines (the lines near jowls). Fillers can also be used to augment the fullness of the lips and fill in the hollow of tear troughs.
