James Kelly, M.D.

 

Dr. James Kelly is a native New Yorker who practices general ophthalmology. A graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown Medical School, Dr. Kelly completed his intern year at Maimonides Medical Center, and residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish, where he served as chief resident.

 

Dr. Kelly has worked in several offices in New York and Long Island and has managed a wide variety of complex cases, making him comfortable diagnosing and treating the most challenging patients. Dr. Kelly serves as an ophthalmology board review instructor, helping young ophthalmologists pass their oral boards.

 

In his free time, he enjoys traveling to Europe, South America, and Asia; rooting for the Giants, Mets, Knicks, and Georgetown Hoyas; listening to live music and reading non-fiction.
