Jessica Rimm, OD
Dr. Jessica Rimm is a National Board Certified and New York State Licensed Optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care to her patients at City Eye MD as well as specialty contact lens services.
She earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree as well as a Microcredential in Cornea and Contact Lens from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her optometric training at the West Haven VA Hospital, Cornea & Contact Lens Clinic at the University Eye Center, City Eye MD, and NYC Retina. Throughout her training, she had a strong emphasis in ocular disease, surgical co-management, pediatric eye care and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Rimm is passionate about the management of Corneal and Anterior Segment Disease and has been trained in specialty contact lenses to manage conditions such as keratoconus, irregular astigmatism, and ocular surface disease. Additionally, she has a vision research background in myopia control and contact lenses and has presented her clinical research at The Global Specialty Lens Symposium.
Before her optometric training, Dr. Rimm received her Bachelor of Science from Boston College and worked as a research scientist with focus in molecular biology and genetics at Moderna Therapeutics and Tufts University.
Dr. Rimm is also dedicated to providing access to eye care to underserved communities and has gone on medical mission trips to Guatemala to provide prescription glasses to those without immediate access to health care. She speaks conversational Spanish.
