Dr. Caitlyn Kennedy is a board certified and New York State licensed optometrist, who provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages at City Eye MD.

Dr. Kennedy received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. She completed her clinical training at the cornea and contact lens department at Boston Medical Center, the advanced low vision and primary eye care clinics in the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital System, and South Boston Community Health Center. She is trained in the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre and post-operative surgical care, specialty contact lenses, pediatric eye care and low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Kennedy specializes in the use of  medically necessary contact lenses for diseased and irregular corneas. She has extensive experience fitting scleral (MSD) and hybrid lenses for patients with conditions such as keratoconus. She is passionate about her profession and her patients. As a member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), Dr. Kennedy has volunteered her time to international optometric mission work, providing eye care in the Dominican Republic. She has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the SUNY school of Optometry.
